Google-owned Stadia streaming platform now has a free version. From now on the access to the game service can be obtained not only by subscribers, but also by all Gmail account users.

Starting today and in the next 48 hours, new users will be able to get two months of the Stadia Pro premium subscription, which includes support for up to 4K streams and a set of 9 games, including Destiny 2, GRID, GYLT, the Cool Sam trilogy, and others.

The existing Pro version subscribers will not be charged over the next 60 days.

However, it is noted that due to the heavy load on the network, the developers temporarily reduced the resolution of the video stream from 4k to 1080p.

It should be recalled that in March 2019 Google announced the launch of its own streaming platform Stadia, which provides instant access to the game from any device without the need to download or install additional content.

The platform is currently available in the United States, Canada, the UK and 11 other European countries. Russia is not on the list yet.
